Committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) call for several breakthroughs by 2030, including an end to extreme poverty and hunger, while improving access to health care and education, protecting the environment, and building peaceful, inclusive societies. In accelerating the transition to the net-zero emissions economy through its energy platform technology, ADS-TEC Energy is contributing in particular to four of the SDGs:

SDGHow we support
Goal 7
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
Our portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial products are specifically designed to support the massive energy transformation that is needed to shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy, including the decentralized, renewable energy systems of today and the future.
Goal 9
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
Our EV Charging products are designed to help scale up the infrastructure needed to support the Electric Vehicles revolution. Our Residential and Commercial & Industrial products enable the transformation in society to more sustainable forms of energy.
Goal 11
Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
Our work with Smart City Capital is directly helping to make numerous cities more resilient and sustainable.
Goal 13
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
Achieving a net zero emission economy will be accelerated through Electric Vehicles and supporting infrastructure. We also set company goals to address the environment and climate change.

Conflict minerals statement

Issues associated with the use of lithium, nickel and cobalt, as well as tin, tantalum, tungsten (the three so-called conflict minerals) are complex and varied. Our goal is to have a well designed and implemented responsible battery sourcing program in order to assess and mitigate any adverse impacts in the supply chain, and meet stakeholder expectations. We work with our suppliers to address this issue.

ADS-TEC Energy announces support for COP26 Joint Declaration on Transition to Zero Emission Vehicles

At the annual UN climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland in November 2021, ADS-TEC Energy announced its support for the COP26 Presidency Joint Declaration on the Transition to Zero Emission Vehicles that targets a net zero emission future by 2030/2035. Rapid global adoption of zero-emission vehicles is vital to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change, and this transformation will not be possible without convenient, ultrafast charging. ADS-TEC Energy, in partnership with Porsche AG, also hosted a demonstration of its 2.1 MW ChargeTrailer with all-electric Porsche Taycan models charging at COP26 Transport Day on November 10 at Glasgow Airport.
